WHAT DOES THIS TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP MEAN?
Meeting Room User
- Monthly passes are for securing advanced reservations by non-coworking members for use of the Media Lab (Studio Building) during or after hours (for standard use, not podcasting with LOOM equipment)
- Member is allotted 10 booking passes per month (10 hours of use). These do not roll to subsequent months. However, all memberships are monthly and a plan can be changed any time with 15 day notice.
- Member also receives member benefits such as access to online member network (Slack), community retail/restaurant discounts and invitations to members only events.
- Additional passes can also be purchased in 1 hour increments but are spent in half hour increments. Please allot for 15 minutes before and after to account for set up and wrap-up.
For after-hours use, building access will also have to be set up.
WHAT DO I DO ONCE I JOIN AS A MEETING ROOM USER - Monthly?
- LOOM will send you a PDF explaining the method of making bookings and other suggestions.
If you do make a reservation on your own, you may be contacted by management to alter your times or locations based on uses of adjacent spaces or other conflicts.
WHAT IF MY NUMBER OF ATTENDEES EXCEEDS THE ROOM MAXIMUM AND I AM IN NEED ADDITIONAL ROOM TO DO PRESENTATIONS OR OTHER ACTIVITIES?
Should attendee count or activities anticipated need more room may be offered another larger space at discounted event space rental rates. Larger rooms (Training Room or Studio) which are reserved in advance may require a deposit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A SMALL, LAST MINUTE DAY-OF MEETING BUT A ROOM IS NOT AVAILABLE?
If no small room is available during a regular workday, we may be able to offer you a larger private or semi-private space at your regular rate. This option cannot be offered for advanced bookings and is based on availability. Because our coworking members have priority on meeting room usage, it is important that meeting room renters do not rely on there being last minute availability of meeting rooms.
A Podcast Membership provides:
- 8 hours per month access to podcast studio / recording time in the Studio building per month (unused hours do not carry over between months). Additional hours can be purchased.
- Outside renters pay $20 (weekdays) or $25 (after hours) per hour for podcast space rental
- If you commit to membership for 6 months or 1 year, you receive a significant monthly discount and recording hours can be used however you want during the membership duration (does roll month to month). Contact management if you wish to use this option.
- Use of all available recording equipment, provided lighting, backdrops, etc.
Upgraded Building Access to studio (5am-12am)
- Access to member directory and Slack network
- Community discounts (because they have Vizpin)
- $99/month ($60-$100/month below a similar amount of pay by the hour use)
Initial hour of membership to be spent in a scheduled orientation session with management to discuss equipment and set building access.
Access to space for single day 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

WHAT DOES THIS TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP MEAN?
Meeting Room Renter membership (and the booking passes utilized) are for securing advanced reservations by non-coworking members for any of the five small private rooms including:
• Main Building (Meeting Room A and B seat 6 max).
• Studio Building (Media Lab/Podcast Studio seats 4 max, Consultation Room seats 2, Phone Room seats 1).
WHAT DO I DO ONCE I JOIN AS A MEETING ROOM RENTER?
• Purchase the appropriate number of booking passes based on the length of time you need access. These can only be purchased in 1 hour increments but can be spent in half hour increments. Please allot for 15 minutes before and after to account for set up and wrap-up.
• Renter must call or email to make the reservation (rather than self-booking) due to additional uses of desired spaces.
If you call, please provide:
o day and times needed
o number of attendees
o activities to take place (conversation vs presentation vs collaborative activities).
We will then help you select the most appropriate space, check availability, and make the booking for you. For after-hours use, building access will also have to be set up.

If you are podcasting, whether you are new to podcasting or not, new users are required to utilize their half to full hour of room use to meet with management to get introduced to the equipment and discuss building access, amenities and responsibilities.
There are two types of passes that can be used for basic meetings within Meeting Room A and B, the Consultation Room, and the Media Lab. There are also two types of passes when the Media Lab will serve as a Podcast Studio utilizing our equipment:
- Meeting Space Booking pass ($15/hr) - Workday hours, 8am-5pm Mon-Fri (Also used when booking the Media Lab but NOT using our podcasting equipment)
- Meeting Space Booking pass ($20/hr) - After hours use, after 5pm Mon-Fri and on weekends (Also used when booking the Media Lab but NOT using our podcasting equipment)
- Podcasting Booking pass ($20/hr) - Workday hours use, 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
- Podcasting Booking pass ($25/hr) - After hours use, after 5pm Mon-Fri and on weekends
WHAT IF MY NUMBER OF ATTENDEES IS MORE THAN 6 OR WE HAVE 6 ATTENDEES NEEDING ADDITIONAL ROOM TO DO PRESENTATIONS OR OTHER ACTIVITIES?

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A SMALL (6 OR LESS), LAST MINUTE DAY-OF MEETING BUT A ROOM IS NOT AVAILABLE?
If no small room is available during a regular workday, we may be able to offer you a larger private or semi-private space at the regular meeting room rate. This option cannot be offered for advanced bookings and is based on availability. Because our coworking members have priority on meeting room usage, it is important that meeting room renters do not rely on there being last minute availability of meeting rooms.
CAN I USE A DAY PASS TO RESERVE THE MEETING ROOMS?
This is a non-coworking membership (although day passes can also be purchased). If renter purchases a day pass for coworking (without acquiring meeting room booking passes), meeting rooms can only be reserved the day of based on availability and may not be booked in advance. Please contact us for additional details regarding day passes and all-inclusive coworking memberships.
Access to space for single day 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday; includes up to 2 hours of meeting room use (booked day-of use only). Must check-in on member management system upon arrival.
Hours for member mail pick-up are 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

Tier 1 (Basic Membership): Since all of our members do not utilize the LOOM mailing address as a way to be registered on Google Business and other search optimization services, we will continue to have our standard Virtual membership which renews annually based on when members’ joined. This service is $20/month, paid on an annual basis ($240 due at signing)
The following are existing services remaining for previous as well as new Tier 1 Virtual members:
- A professional business address (with your new individual suite number) to use on your business cards, website and other written materials
- Mail collection and filing in appropriate folder per member
- Discounts on second business or DBA membership
- Notification of packages, time sensitive mail or courier items upon delivery
EXTRA SERVICES:
Tier 2 (Register as Virtual Member then add Add "Extras - Tier 2 upgrade"): Includes Tier 1 services above, as well as the following:
- Use of our business address (with your new individual suite number), as marketing collateral, including search engine optimization services and Google Business listing.
- Two coworking day passes per month which can be used by you or any staff member. They do not expire, can be accumulated month to month, and can be traded in for hourly pre-reserved meeting room use. This is a $40 value.
Fee = $30/month in addition to cost of Tier 1 membership (billed annually)
Certified agent services:
This service can be added to any tier of membership or can be utilized independently.
